Pistachio Oil Parathas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast (optional)
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio oil
  • Kaizer Pistachio Oil for brushing (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast (if using).
  • Gradually add the lukewarm water and mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of Kaizer Pistachio Oil and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions.
  • Roll out each portion into a thin circle, about 6-7 inches in diameter.
  • Brush the edges with a little water.
  • Fold the dough in a triangle or a square shape, pressing the edges to seal.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or tava over medium heat.
  • Place a paratha on the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes or until it starts to puff up.
  • Brush the paratha with a little pistachio oil and flip it over.
  • Cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Repeat with the remaining dough portions.
  • Serve hot with your favorite fillings or toppings!
